Our coaches are subject to continuous training and professional development to build strong, supportive relationships within any school community. We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the need of all pupils and develop and encourage positive outcomes for all children and their experiences of physical education. We have a consistent and fair approach that relies on a mutual respect and offers models of behavior to our young participants. We have high expectations of all of the children, no matter their starting points. We have always strived to broaden children’s minds, experiences and knowledge through sport and give them alternatives to consider in their future.
As a company we have developed our teaching; working closely with headteachers, school staff and children to ensure that the curriculum we offer has all the criteria they deem necessary for the school and its context. The curriculum is tailored to the individual needs of the school based on that relationship and experience. We also ensure that we are meeting all of the criteriastipulated in the school behavior policy to ensure we are sharing the same messages as school staff.
Badu Sports’ staff adhere to company values to give the children the best experience they all deserve and ensure that the company promise is delivered. This includes appropriate employment checks and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure. PIC Badu Sports employees work to government legislation and statutory guidance, which is based on the Department for Education's Safeguarding children and safer recruitment in education.
